THERE ARE TWO WAYS THAT THE FLYEBABY SEAT CAN BE USED ON A DINING ROOM CHAIR AND THE INSTALLATION METHOD THAT WILL WORK DEPENDS ON THE STYLE OF THE DINING ROOM CHAIR. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE INSTALLING THE FLYEBABY SEAT ON A DINING ROOM CHAIR. (Please note that FlyeBaby will work on most but not all dining room chair models.)
INSTALLATION FOR TALLER BACK DINING ROOM CHAIRS:
STEP 1: Remove the separate chair strap from the pockets located on the back of the FlyeBaby seat and set aside. Place the FlyeBaby seat on the dining room chair and position it so that the harness is located on the base of the chair, giving room for the baby to sit comfortably. (See Figure 2.2 and 2.3 on Page 2) Secure the bottom strap underneath the base of the dining room seat and tighten.
STEP 2: Remove the long strap from the pockets located on the back of the FlyeBaby seat. Secure the FlyeBaby seat to the back of the dining room chair by buckling the long strap with the male buckle into the female buckle base.
STEP 3: Using the separate strap that you set aside in Step 1, thread the top straps through Vertical Loop 1 and Vertical Loop 2 and secure. Match the same color tabs to ensure correct installation (See Figure 2.3 on page 2).
STEP 4: Secure and tighten Horizontal Strap 1 and Horizontal Strap 2 by threading the straps through the loops on the separate chair strap. Adjust the strap as needed to securely fit the specific dining room chair model.
STEP 5: Test the FlyeBaby seat to make sure it is secure (DO NOT USE if it is not secure). Place the child in the five-point harness (See Figure 1.2 on page 1), secure the buckle, adjust the shoulder straps and side waist straps for a secure fit.
INSTALLATION FOR LOWER BACK DINING ROOM CHAIRS:
STEP 1: Remove the separate chair strap from the pockets located on the back of the FlyeBaby seat and place in the fabric storage bag so that this separate strap is not lost. You will not need this separate strap for this installation. (See Figures 2.2 and 2.3 on Page 2) Place the FlyeBaby seat on the dining room chair and position it so that the harness system is located on the base of the chair, giving room for the baby to sit comfortably. Secure the bottom strap underneath the base of the seat and tighten.
STEP 2: Remove the long strap from the pockets located on the back of the FlyeBaby seat. Secure the FlyeBaby seat to the back of the dining room chair by buckling the long strap with the male buckle into the female buckle base.
STEP 3: Fold the top of the FlyeBaby seat over the top of the dining room chair. The center of the circle cutout should be located at the top of the dining room chair creating a half circle cut out on the front and back of the dining room chair.
STEP 4: Secure Horizontal Strap 1 and Horizontal Strap 2 by threading the straps through Horizontal Loop 1 and Horizontal Loop
2. Match the same color tabs to ensure correct installation. (See Figures 2.1 and 2.2 on page 2) Depending on the style of the dining room chair, you may also secure the two vertical straps by threading the straps through the vertical loops and matching the same color tabs.
(It is not necessary to use the two vertical straps for the dining room chair use if the FlyeBaby seat is secured by the horizontal straps.)
STEP 5: Test the FlyeBaby seat to make sure it is secure (DO NOT USE if it is not secure). Place the child in the five-point harness (See Figure 1.2 on page 1), secure the buckle, adjust the shoulder straps and side waist straps for a secure fit.
